After picking up Bethany on Saturday we went to the Vancouver Farmers Market. There is a park there (the oldest park west of the Mississippi F.Y.I.) and we had our breakfast in the park and of course played.

Owen loves to swing

We have a park literally 2 blocks from us that we love to walk to. Finley loves it because she gets to run and Owen loves it because he gets to swing. I love it just because it's a park!! Here are some pics from our outing the other day. mmmm....bark dust!

the many boo-boos

I can not believe that owen is not totally black and blue since he has started pulling himself up on EVERYHTING! He has had sooo many tumbles. It seems like he would have a fear of tumbling and be more careful, that is definitly not the case! I think he has only become more gutsy. He is strong and daring. That scares me. I guess neither Mike nor I can deny he is ours! :)

Here is his boo boo from the shoe rack at work yesterday. I thought for sure it would leave a mark. I put some arnica on it and BAM gone! That stuff is great. I swore it was going to look like I abused him today. Not so much. YEAH.

8 months today

WOW, really? 8 Months? Okay, it does go fast! To proove it he has started pulling himself up on everything! I mean everything! I had to lower his crib AGAIN. Nothing is safe anymore. I can not leave the room and leave him unconfined.
Mike let Owen fill out his very own mothers day card. Very sweet. These are my mothers day flowers. Thanks Becky and Mike.

First Mothers Day

We went to another Momma's house for the first mothers day celebration. It was a nice potluck dinner. Here is a shot of the babes playing and havin a great time. Unfortunatly owen was not well rested and had a breakdown later. That's just how it goes. Still we had a great time. He climbed the stari all by himself...scarry.

Afterwards we went to Council Crest Park and hung out in the sun and had a beer and let the tush get some air. What a cute butt!

Happy Mothers Day

So I meant to post yesterday and wish all ya all a Happy Mothers Day. Here is a special wish from Owen too that he wanted to share!

I got a massage from Cory the other day that was somewhat limited due to Owens lack of cooperation! He wanted to give me a tooth massage instead! How sweet of him. Unfortunatly it didn't help my back :( (check out that widows peak...wow)

Well we are having a garage sale this weekend and that is my excuse this week as to why I have been slacking on the posts. Owen is actually playing in his crib at the moment and that is why I have this moment to catch up. It will be short lived! Here are a few pics.
We went to see a belly dancing show the other night and Owen loved it! One of the dancers gave him her bendi . It just completed the buddah babe! ENJOY!

Well not actually. We have been bustin' butt outside. I have pictures to proove it! The chicken pen is almost created.A bit more work yet. The herb bed is still in progress but not sure it's direction yet. The clothes line is going to be handy for hanging the baskets though.
