dixie the goat

we went out to a friends farm the other day towards the beach and they had a neubian goat names dixie. she was my friend. anyone who knows me knows i am a total goat lady and miss my girls. i was so happy to be walking the trails with her. she made my day. i think something is calling me to my destiny of getting goats again. I am reading Barbara Kingslover's novel Prodigal Summer and it's got a lady in the story with goats. Dixie at the farm and then watched a movie last night that had goats in it. I love them so!

I published this and realized i did not eve post a picture of Dixie! just the minature pony and sheep on the farm...here is dixie!!

The kitchen project

i got this kitchen from the store i work at, Lily ToadIt was one that was given to us and has been in the playroom for over a year. Finally Christy was ready to get rid of it and Owen was showing interest in pretend cooking and such so i took it and painted it all up! It was a fun project. The black is chalkboard paint and it has metallic silver faucets and sink! suck a "guy" kitchen now!

he loves these babies. and it would just not be right to NOT post the one of him picking his nose. it's just so natural to see him doing it! he always has his finger up that damn nose!

the penguin

Grandma Bobbie sent us a penguin for christmas and shortly thereafter owen thought the penguin needed a sweater so we took one of his socks and cut holes in it for the cold penguin! how thoughtful. I completely forgot that i did not post these!
