trains, trains, trains

ok, so if it's not tractors and semi trucks, it's trains....owen has started building train tracks. very unique ones too!!! i think mike is having just as much fun as he is!

Owen in a bucket

Our old family friends "The Bells" bought a resort/campground in Southern Indiana just outside Bloomington. They had their grand opening celebration while I was there so we took the treck to B-town and checked it out. This "bucket tractor" was there...Owen had a great time. The lake in the picture is Lake Monroe.

illinois

so i guess i didn't take many pics in illinois. It seems that someone else always had a camera out! It's a bit shocking really that my camera was not always going. Maybe i was just enjoying relaxing too much! So if any of ya all out there have some good pics from Illinois please pass them along.

Owen loved playing peek-a-boo in the "doggie window" you can see the play phone in his hand that he loved soo well. (By the way Marion, he loves that remote! It was great on the plane. Especially because it has a volume control!)

the giant crane

my parents have property in Cole City and it used to be a big mining area. There are still some pieces of old equipment out in the fields and this is a GIANT crane. So cool. Owen thought so too. The first thing he said was "whooah". It's truly amazing when you are standing my that thing. You really begin to appreciate and understand the word gi-normous!

tractors galore

i am not sure who had more fun with this tractor??!! Aunt Kelly, Nathan or Owen. I only know that fun was had by all. If only we could have taken that tractor home on the plane with us! That is owen's newest obsession. HE LOVES TRACTORS. We went to the local farm here on Sauvie's Island yesterday and picked some strawberries and of course he took off (more like B-lined it) for the farm implements.
